You'll probably need to reassign a keyboard command or two, at least that's what I had to do on my MacBook Pro. AFAIK Word 2011 ships with the Option + End and Command + End keys assigned the EndOfDocument command and the Option + Down Arrow and Command + Down Arrow assigned to the ParaDown command. Since there isn't an End key on these condensed keyboards I reassigned the Option + Down Arrow to the EndOfDocument command. To do this go to Tools Customize Keyboard and select the All Commands category. In the commands box find ParaDown and remove the Option + Down Arrow as one of the assigned controls. (obviously if you prefer, you can choose the Command + Down Arrow) Now find the EndOfDocument command and assign the Option + Down Arrow to that command. To get the StartOfDocument command setup properly, follow the same procedure and use one of the two settings currently assigned to the ParaUp command.
I can't find a list of keyboard shortcuts in Word for use on the Mac (Word 08). Would love to see the list. Also, I am used to using 'Control Home/End' to move very quickly to the beginning/end of a line or a document. Are there actually corresponding keys on the Mac for home and end, as on the PC? Thanks for your help (in anticipation).
